My name is Kien Le. My primary research interests lie broadly in the area of economic development. I am passionate about combating inefficiency and poverty. While my dissertation chapters are focused on macroeconomic and growth aspects, I am also involved in a number of applied microeconomics projects. I have taught multiple semester-long courses in macroeconomics. My principle of effective teaching is to get students engaged by interesting questions on real-life dilemmas and solving them with economic tools.
